Shamrock 2008 – On March 7^th we held a wine tasting and silent auction event at the beautiful Rancho Mission Trails Clubhouse, thank you Clair Palkovic! The wine was provided by Hope Wine LLC, www.hopewine.com. We still have 10 bottles left selling for $10 pb please contact the SDKDAA if you would like to purchase this great wine.

The event raised $1,240 after expenses with 80% going to our local philanthropy, Julian’s Anchorage, and 20% going to National KD’s philanthropy, Prevent Child Abuse America.

Thanks to all that attend this wonderful event and to those that donated to our cause we appreciate you ALL.

President's Message:

The SDKDAA has been growing strong during the past 10 months, from 1 to 22 members, but we need your help to continue our success.
What types of programs would you like to see offered? We have had our bi-monthly meetings and social gatherings at restaurants and homes. We have had a design your own handbag party, pottery painting, Holiday Party and a movie night. We are open to suggestions, please.
Our Young Alum group has meet a few times and are looking for more young alums to attend. Please contact the SDKDAA with any suggestions.
Recruitment efforts for the 2008-2009 year will begin in June so please look for more information soon on how to become a member on our website.
As you know the Kappa Delta purpose is to Promote True Friendship, may all sisters in KD strive to seek those friendships both inside and outside our circle.

May 24^th – Padres Baseball Game

*The SDKDAA has 20 tickets for the May 24^th Padres game vs. The Reds. These tickets are “Bases Loaded” tickets which include $20 in concessions and/or merchandise. Ticket price is $45. Please RSVP ASAP for these seats.
